Windows 11 Lagging or Animations Delayed? Check Your Power Mode
Double check and make sure that your power mode is not set to "quiet", "silent", "best power efficiency" or anything along those lines. I avoided a major disappointment by switching the mode to "Balanced" for everything to work and feel as expected. Even on Balanced, there's the occasional stuttering but nothing to drive you crazy. Set it to performance mode, the laptop flies.
